Shot in Stephen Weiss studio in the heart of Greenwich Village in Manhattan, Mary J. Blige and BET’s new show The Wine Down, was co designed by Rose and interior designer / tv personality, Mikel Welch. During The Wine Down, Mary J. Blige raises a toast to her celebrity friends as they join her for casual chats and deep conversations about the joys and challenges of love and every day life. Rose and Mikel created the foundational look in episodes 1 and 2 (2023) of the brand new TV show as well as designing all of the green rooms for each celebrity guest. Paintings featured in this episode celebrate black art and artists with featured pieces created by Dawn Okoro and Patrick Dougar. Celebrity guests include: Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee, and Taraji P. Henson.
