Directed by award winning filmmaker Michael Marantz, Flings is a sexy, absurdist portrayal of a public figure’s loneliness and his addiction to self destructive relationships. Shot in Bushwick, Brooklyn, Flings shows artist KAMAUU navigating two dueling realties; a cold isolating apartment and a club filled with adoring fans who resemble that of predators spotting their prey. Rose designed and transformed a loft and local bar to create a moody, surrealist atmosphere indicative of KAMAUU’s mental state as he navigates relationships, stardom, and battles his own inner demons.
