FLAWLESS
FLAWLESS
Produced by Columbia College Chicago, Flawless is a short cautionary tale that follows an aging drag queen as she goes to extreme measures to maintain her relevance while falling into the shadow of a younger queen. This story of ego and notoriety combines prosthetics, blood work, bold costumes and make up, and choreographed dance performances to create an eccentric and bold style influenced by the aesthetic of Paris is Burning and Clockwork Orange.
As Production Designer for this project, Rose oversaw the execution of prop weapons, prosthetics, and specialized graphics, in addition to the construction of a surrealist make up room on Columbia’s sound stage. Her team also created a performance space in Progress Bar located in Chicago’s famous gay neighborhood, Boystown.
